The official opening of the new Sci-Tech Library for the University of Sydney happened in July. The library is part of the Jane Foss-Russell Building designed by JWA. The overall project was completed earlier this year and opened to students who are very taken with the library filling it to capacity whilst studying for their end of year exams. Above the library, a striking green façade to the new student services building frames a civic square and creates an address to the city beyond. Patterned glass overlays specially anodised panels using jewellery application techniques.
