John Wardle Architects wins Victorian Architecture Medal

Victorian Architecture Medal
In addition to receiving the prestigious William Wardell Award for Public Architecture, the Nigel Peck Centre for Learning and Leadership, at Melbourne Grammar School, has won the 2008 Victorian Architecture Medal, the highest honour amongst all categories of the RAIA Victorian Architecture Awards.

Jury Citation
"Due to the competence with which the confluence of presences is handled, the project has significant physical and intellectual presence - both admirable qualities for a school's library and knowledge hub. Beautifully and thoughtfully crafted this project generously resolves a complex variety of surfaces, forms and materials"
Other buildings designed by JWA have also been highly awarded in the RAIA Architecture Awards in both Victoria and South Australia, and the Property Council of Australia Awards for 2008.
