"It is fitting that UniSA's ambitious new gallery should carry the names of 'Anne and Gordon Samstag', honouring them as distinguished benefactors to Australian culture" Professor Denise Bradley The UniSA City West Campus Stage 2 project sees the completion of four new buildings for the UniSA City West Campus. The buildings, in total establish a new gravitational centre and spiritual heart for this university. The Hawke Building incorporates former prime minister Bob Hawke’s political archive, seminar rooms and conference spaces including a 400-seat lecture theatre, the University’s corporate headquarters, and the Anne and Gordon Samstag Museum of Art. | This last stage of the UniSA project is an exposition of the many and varied civic functions of the building, and is a joyful expression of the university’s place within the city.
